GIFCanvas Demo No. 1

This applet demonstrates the basic GIFCanvas class by displaying a selection of Animated GIF's.

Sample Images

Below are seven sample animated GIF images. If you want to see them with your browser, just click on them.

The same images... displayed in a Java applet

In the applet below, select one of the images using the choice menu, and then press the "Show" button to display it (give the applet a moment to load the image.) The applet displays the same GIF's as those shown above.

Please note that the applet above is a somewhat contrived attempt to demo the functionality of the GIFCanvas package. For example, clickable links are not implemented. In a real-world application, this functionality could easily be supported in the application using the GIFCanvas package.
